What are the differences between Class-on-Demand (COD) and Training-Module (Module)?

Every COD includes a set of DRILLiT Labs.
Generally, video presentations of COD are longer.
You need to be online to view the COD video presentations. With Training-Module you need to download the package from our web site and install client software to view the video presentations.
Quizzes for both products are performed online.

What do I get when I invest in Class-on-Demand (COD)?

The Class-on-Demand from NetMasterClass offers a unique combination of Video-on-Demand, Quizzes, and DRILLiT Labs — all delivered within your NetMasterClass learning portal.

Of these three learning elements, the primary one is the Video-on-Demand module. Not only do you listen and view the lecture, but you also see how to configure, verify and troubleshoot networking technologies using the Cisco IOS.

Once a student has listened to all of the video-on-demand modules for a given block, he/she can perform an on-line "Spot the Issues" quiz to provide a preliminary assessment of his/her level of competence of the topics covered.

Finally, once you have successfully completed the quizzes, you can work on a DRILLiT lab to get more "hands-on" experience. Each DRILLiT lab comes with an extensive answer key as well as access to the SHOWiT tool which allows you to compare your results.

This is a complete package focused on covering a single technology in depth.

How do I access the content of a Training-Module (Module)?

With Training-Module you need to download the package from our web site and install client software to view the video presentations. Quizzes for are performed online. You would need to install client software from Locklizard. You will use "Safequard PDF viewer" (product manual) for PDF documents and "Protector Secure viewer" (product manual) for multimedia content. Shortly after you are assigned access, you will receive email with installation guidelines and you license file. Please note that a license can be installed on one machine only.

What if I want to work from both home and work?

On which platforms can I use the product?

You may use it with the following Windows platforms : Windows ME, NT, 2000, XP, Vista. For other platforms you would be required to use a simulation software.
